And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain. (Isa 4:6)

fix fix fix

Well today I took the B'racha to the repair shop to get the waste tanks installed and the kitchen plumbing done. As I attempted to take it over to the shop it was stalling in reverse...due to just being old and cold, lol....some of us can understand that...for some reason it did not want to shift back into park after it stalled.
It seemed as if the gear shift lever itself was locking up, so that will have to be looked at when it returns home. Yesterday I also checked the propane tank for leaks and found that it is definitely leaking around the valve. Hopefully they can just tighten it without replacing any parts. However the tank does appear to be very old perhaps as old as the rig so if I have to replace it I will not be surprised. Just a few more things to get us on the road, Safely...and Abba knows best what needs repair. I hope to get the tires replaced next week and will have the brakes checked as well. I am going to share some pics of repairs we have done or had done.

This is the area of floor that we replaced, of course we forgot to take pics as we went along. My son and I tore up the floor and built frames to insert in, as the existing floor was framed very shoddily, then inserted foam insulation, replaced the plywood and added a coat of floor fill to bring to the level of the old tile never removed under the carpet. Perhaps tearing up the whole floor would have been better but was an extreme amount of work that we were not capable of ourselves. This worked perfectly. You can see how it does not show at all, and actually it is stronger than the rest of the floor. :-)

Here are our stairs that we had welded on to the back, unfortunately the trailer hitch was moved to get these centered so we will be unable to tow with our rig. But we can still use the hitch for our bikes or a cargo rack. We do not have a car at this time so it is not an issue now. wow what a skinny shadow, lol

We made screens for windows on both sides of the rig, unfortunately it is very hard to figure out how to keep round screen on, we were able to squeeze the screen and spline into a groove there and then use a moldable caulking to hold it secure all the way around. It will at least last for a while but may need refreshing to keep the screens secure. The original screens were on sliding frames on the inside and luckilly all the smaller windows still had them.

These are just a few of our many many repairs and improvements. I am so looking forward to heading out on the road but am very blessed that Hashem cares enough about us to give us provision while He makes sure all is sound and safe for us. He truly is our Abba and provider! Baruch Hashem !
In Messiah

Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul. While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God: Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever: Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners: The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous: The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down. The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.
