And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain. (Isa 4:6)

Craters, Radiators, Model T' RV's... Oh My...& National Park # 3

Made it safe to Cali with a few bumps but many blessings. On the way we stopped and hiked into the Amboy crater. Awesome to actually be inside an old volcano.... as we got out of the car we noticed transmission fluid dripping..a lot...from where it goes into the radiator...transmission cooler. In Amboy gas station they added a quart of transmission fluid for me and we went on our merry way. We got into town late so stayed the night at an RV park and were very blessed by the gentlemen there! They actually fixed my transmission leak in the morning for free, refusing to take any money as that would be a bad example to my son. I would highly reccomend staying at Yucca RV Park if your in the area. My son was also blessed by the manager to hold a piece of a meteor, and stand on the moon...lol actual rocks from the moon. We also spoke with the gentlemen and took pics with a rig that is definitely older than ours... The Dream Camper is actually a Model T Ford RV..sooo cool, with outhouse in tow and all! We also went into Joshua Tree National park and my son did some great bouldering. And of course are spending time with my princess and met her bo....a few other issues, propane again and some blown fuses...but will post again later because starbucks is kicking us out as they say they are out of hot water...closing up...so check back soon to see more.

Speedy Momzales

I am a speedy person, In fact I have 2 speeds, really fast and really slow or stopped. Though not sure my brain ever stops. Perhaps it is just a mom thing, however it does cause stress.

It's Hot! and National Park #1

Last night after the chanukah candles went out my brother and I got to fiddling with the heater/furnace again, thinking it sure seems like it wants to work. We just could not get it to kick in once the pilot was lit. The funny thing was that upon putting the lighter flame near the pilot it would go out.
